We’ve since founded and scaled businesses, including taking a leadership role in the early days of Comtrac, a SaaS company revolutionising investigation efficiency. From building the Comtrac platform from the ground up to spearheading AI-driven innovations for law enforcement, we’ve consistently leveraged technology to drive tangible results.

TAGD Ventures was born from a passion for helping businesses align their objectives with a bold, future-focused vision. Dave Tormey, the driving force behind TAGD Ventures, brings over 20 years of expertise in IT, strategy, and leadership.
Dave started his career building enterprise web applications and spent years delivering impactful technology solutions for government agencies. He co-founded two businesses before becoming a pivotal hire at Comtrac, a SaaS company transforming investigative workflows. Dave guided Comtrac through its early start-up days, building the platform from scratch and laying the foundation for the company’s future, including its path to IPO readiness.
With a history of driving innovation and delivering tangible results, Dave now channels his expertise into helping businesses thrive through TAGD Ventures.
